Terms & Conditions

Upon booking into a class at The Pilates Project studio/s, you agree to the following statement:

Recreational Activities In the course of exercising or engaging in any recreational activities or services provided at or held by The Pilates Project. This includes but is not limited to, liabilities arising from any cause such as negligence, contract, statute including the Civil Liability Act 2002, tortious or common law for any injury, death, loss, property damage or expense arising out of or sustained to me or I cause while both on and off of the The Pilates Project premises or in relation to any activities, including to any party, if you are killed or injured, The Pilates Project will not be liable.

You agree to indemnify and hold The Pilates Project, The Pilates Project HQ and directors harmless from all liabilities, claims, and expenses, including legal fees, that arise from
your breach of the Agreement.

Liability for supply of other services Without limitation to paragraphs above and any other terms which are implied into this Agreement; or by statute in relation to the supply of services which cannot be excluded or limited, we will ensure that the services that we provide to you are provided with due care and skill, are fit for the purpose for which they are commonly bought as is reasonable to expect in the circumstances, will correspond in the nature and quality with the services demonstrated to you, and are free from any defect rendering them unfit for the purposes for which our services are commonly acquired. To the extent permitted by law, and again without limiting paragraphs above, unless we have breached these obligations we will not be liable for any death, injury, loss, liability or damage that you may incur as a result of the services provided by us to you.




Recreational activities, means your participation in a sporting activity or a similar leisure time pursuit or your participation in any other activity that involves a significant degree of physical exertion or physical risk and is undertaken for the purposes of recreation, enjoyment or leisure.

You agree that The Pilates Project is not responsible in the event of loss, damage, unauthorised use, theft or injury resulting from and to any personal property that you bring onto or undertake on the premises. 

You recognise that this Agreement and Release and Waiver is a legal instrument and that it is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by Australian law. The Pilates Project liability in the aggregate is the refund of the fees paid for the The Pilates Project activity. 

You recognise that by booking into a class you agree to the above terms and conditions and you are waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue and you do so of your own free will and assume all aspects of the risks involved.'



Subscriptions & Memberships


By going on a subscription you are hence becoming a member of The Pilates Project under the membership type you have selected. Your membership beings at your sign up or first payment of your subscription. Whichever comes first. By going on a membership with The Pilates Project,you acknowledge and agree to:


  1. Recurring weekly billing from your nominated bank account. (Including but not limited to bank details, credit card details.), on the subscription you have signed up to. Auto renew starts from the sale date. Not first booking.

  2. That your class credits are valid only for the lifeline of your subscription type. 

  3. It is the responsibility of the member to communicate via email if they wish to stop their ongoing membership. This must be done at least 3 business days before their next billing renewal date. Alternatively, client can cancel via The Pilates Project App and must be cancelled the day before 1159pm. Fail to achieve any of the above will result in a renewal charge. The Pilates Project does not offer a refund.

  4. Weekly Direct Debits are non-refundable and are not transferable between individuals and CANNOT be extended unless you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. Once a membership has expired, memberships will be extended due to medical reasons. Other extension reasons will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

  5. Are non-refundable and are not transferable

  6. If payment defaults you may be charged a default fee of $4.40, for each time there is a default in payment. Where there are 2 or more defaults, your membership may be terminated, with prior money missed payments still payable

  7. Unlimited memberships will incur a $25 fee for late cancellations and/or no shows. 

  8. In the event a member cancels unlimited membership and wishes to rejoin the unlimited membership. Members will need to join the waitlist if one is active.

  9. Credit card details to be automatically saved when a staff member makes a sale.


Class credits purchased via a Class Pack are not recurring and are valid for the lifeline of the selected pack. 


Payment , Bookings & Attendance

1. Payment must be made upon booking. To book into a class you must either have pre-purchased classes or have a valid membership in your account or pay at the time of booking.

2. Bookings are made online through our website or The Pilates Project App

3. Out of consideration for other clients, the instructor and also for your own safety, the warm-up is an important aspect of each class. Please be aware that if you are more than five minutes late for a class, the instructor may not allow you to participate in the class. This is determined at the instructor’s sole discretion.

4. Owners and/or Instructor’s reserve the right to restrict clients to a particular class type for safety reasons; and Owners and/or Instructors reserve the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct medical clearance.

5. Classes are not transferable to another individual and cannot under any circumstances be used by another person. NOTE: If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives to use the class, they will be turned away from the class – or asked to purchase their own classes. You will not receive a refund for your class if this occurs and we reserve the right to cancel your membership in this case.

6. Cancellation: Cancellations are to be made 9 hours ahead of booking. Cancellations within 9 hours of the booked class will result in loss of credit and a $25 charge for clients on an unlimited memberships.
